This is a lovely school with a supportive leadership team and a positive learning environment.
The school are looking for a committed teacher who can provide consistency for the class and help continue the excellent progress pupils are making.
The Role You will be responsible for teaching a Year 3 class on a full-time basis, including planning, marking and assessment .
The school are keen to find someone who can become part of the team and provide stability for the pupils for the remainder of the academic year.
You will also be expected to attend parents' evenings and contribute to the wider school community where needed.
Key Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum Marking and assessing pupils' work Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching where required Attending parents' evenings and communicating effectively with families Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one A positive xehkeey and committed approach to teaching and learning What we offer Competitive pay rates in line with experience and pay scales A supportive and welcoming school environment Ongoing support from your dedicated Simply Education consultant If you're a primary teacher looking for a rewarding role in Sheerness until the end of the academic year, we'd love to hear from you.
