Year 5 Primary Teacher**

Aspire People are recruiting a confident and motivated **Year 5 Teacher** to join a forward-thinking primary school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching in Upper KS2 and preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6.

The school is looking for a teacher who can challenge pupils academically while also supporting their personal development and independence.

**The Role:**
* Full class teaching responsibility within a Year 5 classroom
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for increased expectations leading into Year 6
* Supporting pupils with reasoning, problem-solving, and extended writing
* Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
* Working collaboratively with the KS2 team

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English
* Confident classroom practitioner with good behaviour management
* Passionate about pupil progress and attainment
