The Role

In this role, you will:
• Lead a Year 5 class, delivering lessons that spark curiosity and enjoyment in learning
• Develop pupils’ confidence in English, Maths, and the wider curriculum
• Plan exciting projects and activities that make learning memorable and meaningful
• Use assessment and feedback to support pupil progress and achievement
• Create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and good practice
• Engage parents and carers as partners in their children’s education

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who is:
• Qualified with QTS and experienced in teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5
• Passionate about innovative and creative approaches to learning
• Able to motivate and inspire pupils to reach their potential
• Confident in classroom management and building positive behaviour
• Collaborative, reflective, and keen to grow professionally
• Committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment
• DBS checked or willing to apply
