TimePlan Education is supporting a warm, community-focused primary school seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 team. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who can secure strong progress in Upper Key Stage 2 and prepare pupils for Year 6.

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the full KS2 curriculum, with a strong focus on reading, writing and maths.

Differentiate learning for a range of abilities, including pupils with SEND and higher attainers.

Use assessment to track progress, close gaps and prepare pupils for upper key stage expectations.

Build positive relationships with pupils and families, and contribute fully to the wider life of the school.

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS and have recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6 desirable).

Demonstrate strong behaviour management and high expectations for all pupils.

Be collaborative, organised and committed to providing a supportive, high‑quality classroom environment.
