We are supporting a friendly and well-led primary school in Redbridge in their search for a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join them from January on a long-term basis.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to inspire and support pupils in their learning and personal development. You will join a supportive SLT and a collaborative KS2 team, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Year 5 lessons

Create an inclusive, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment

Support pupils of varying abilities to make excellent progress

Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues

Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values

The Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS (or equivalent) and experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5

Demonstrates strong behaviour management and effective teaching strategies

Is creative, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact

Confident and enthusiastic about taking on a long-term role
