Year 5/6 Teacher - Primary School - Lewisham - £150-£220 per day
We are seeking a confident and experienced Year 5/6 Teacher to join a well-regarded primary school in Lewisham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with upper Key Stage 2 pupils and prepare them for the transition to secondary education.
The Role:
As a Year 5/6 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons, supporting pupils in developing key academic skills and building confidence ahead of Year 6 assessments and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for a Year 5/6 class
Prepare pupils for SATs and secondary school transition
Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities
Track and monitor pupil progress
Create a positive and focused classroom environmentThe Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2
Strong understanding of SATs preparation
Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Dedicated and driven to achieve strong pupil outcomesThe School Offers:
