A welcoming Junior School in the NG15 postcode area is seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 6 with their learning, helping them prepare for transition to secondary school while providing targeted academic and pastoral support.

The Role:

Year 6 Teaching Assistant

Based at a Junior School in NG15

Start ASAP

Supporting Year 6 pupils in class and in small groups

Assisting with core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science

Providing 1:1 support where needed

Supporting pupils' social and emotional development

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting upper key stage 2 pupils

A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach

Confidence in supporting English and Maths learning

Ability to engage and motivate children in Year 6

Strong teamwork and communication skills

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
