Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 6 pupils
Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage assessments and monitor progress effectively
Assess and provide constructive feedback to support pupil development
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupilsIdeal Year 6 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
