About Us:

We are working with a two-form entry school in the Borough of Newham that are looking for a part-time Year 6 Teacher. The school places emphasis on everyone having the opportunity to thrive. From after the Easter break, they are looking for a Year 6 Teacher to work on Monday and Tuesdays until the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 6 Teacher
• Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
• Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
• Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent.
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum
• Prior experience as a Year 6 Teacher
• UK classroom-based experience as a Year 6 Teacher
