Job Title: Year 6 TeacherLocation: Small Heath, BirminghamPay: £150-£232 per dayJob Type: Full-Time / Long-TermJob Description:We are seeking an experienced and committed Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Small Heath, Birmingham. This role is ideal for a confident teacher who can support pupils through their final year of primary education and prepare them effectively for their transition to secondary school and SATs.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons, raising attainment, and ensuring pupils are well prepared both academically and personally.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 national curriculumPrepare pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs and support them in reaching their full potentialAssess, track, and report on pupil progressDifferentiate lessons to support a wide range of abilitiesMaintain strong classroom management and high behavioural expectationsWork closely with teaching assistants and other staff membersParticipate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and school activitiesCommunicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and developmentEnsure safeguarding and school policies are followed at all timesRequirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Previous experience teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparationExcellent organisation and planning skillsAbility to motivate and inspire pupilsEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer:Competitive daily rate of £150-£232 per daySupportive leadership and teaching teamOpportunity to make a real impact in pupils' final year of primary schoolPotential for long-term opportunitiesAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
