Job Title: Youth Offending Service Operations Manager

Location: Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3AR

Type: Contract

Duration: 24 months

Salary: £45.20 per hour (Umbrella)

Work Arrangements: Office-based with some remote working, 4-day working week (minimum 3 days on-site)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective safeguarding of children, people, families, and communities through the delivery of a youth offending service.
• Lead and manage the team to provide high-quality, integrated services in compliance with legislation and best practices.
• Make decisions on complex cases within the youth offending service, focusing on areas such as harmful practices, gangs, serious youth violence, and whole family work.
• Manage HR, performance, and resource allocation to empower staff and achieve service objectives.

Requirements:

• Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• Degree in Social Work or a youth justice professional qualification.
