Make a Real Impact on Sustainability

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Zero Waste Lead to help transform the way our clients manage and reduce waste. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the UK’s most prestigious organisations—including Government and Banking clients—while making a tangible difference to their sustainability journey.


You’ll play a key role in shaping zero‑waste strategies, supporting mobilisation of new contracts, delivering best‑practice solutions, and helping organisations achieve their sustainability goals.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up and manage waste‑reduction plans.
  • Identify and implement improvements that increase recycling and reduce waste.
  • Act as the Waste Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance, insight and best practice to clients and operational teams.
  • Support bid activity by advising on innovative waste and sustainability solutions.
  • Lead waste‑related projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Use data analysis and visualisation to understand waste performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with contract teams to ensure services meet expectations and contractual commitments.
  • Support clients in achieving their sustainability agendas and overcoming waste‑related challenges.


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in sustainability, zero‑waste strategies, and circular economy principles.
  • Experience within the waste industry or related operational environments.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent stakeholder‑management and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience managing complex projects, including risk mitigation and KPI reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data insights effectively.
  • Good understanding of facility management, waste, and cleaning service streams.
  • Ability to translate business insights and customer expectations into practical, effective waste solutions.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (role includes travel to client sites).
  • CIWM Membership and/or sustainability qualifications (desired).



Security Requirements

This role requires SC Clearance. Candidates must be eligible to meet the criteria.
