1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Sutton + Southwest London

Salary: £95–£114.5 per day – Depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Do you have a natural ability to connect with young people who see the world a little differently?

We’re looking for compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistance for various roles in primary schools across Sutton and Southwest London. These roles require you to support pupils with SEN and other related needs. You’ll work alongside a brilliant, supportive team helping children build confidence, communication skills, and independence in a calm, structured environment.

What you’ll be doing:

· Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small, consistent groups

· Using visual supports, communication aids, and sensory strategies

· Encouraging positive engagement and emotional regulation

· Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists

What we’re looking for:

· Understanding or experience of autism and neurodiversity

· A patient, adaptable, and caring approach

· Reliability, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others

Experience in specialist education is helpful but not essential—what matters most is your positivity and passion for making a difference.
