Account Director - £50-60k – London/ Hybrid


We are working with an independent, integrated marketing and communications agency looking for an Account Director who combines integrated agency delivery excellence with a strong understanding of AI and strategic thinking. You’ll lead key client relationships, steer multi-disciplinary teams across creative, digital, strategy and data-led solutions, and help shape how emerging AI capabilities enhance the way we solve client challenges. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a growing environment, enjoys variety, and can move confidently between delivery, strategy and AI consultancy.

You will need experience working across integrated digital campaigns – including web and app builds, incentive programmes and data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of complex, integrated client accounts across creative, digital, strategy and data workstreams
  • Drive delivery excellence, ensuring work is on brief, on budget and on time across multiple active projects.
  • Build trusted client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to solve business challenges and improve outcomes.
  • Work closely with creative, digital, production and strategy teams to translate client objectives into clear, actionable programmes of work.
  • Support and guide clients as they explore AI capability - from understanding use cases to helping shape workshop outputs and recommendations.
  • Contribute to strategic thinking across accounts, connecting insights to commercial outcomes and informing creative and digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with other agency partners within multi-agency ecosystems to ensure alignment, integration and smooth delivery.
  • Help develop internal capability and ways of working as the agency continues to grow and evolve its offer.
  • Maintain high delivery standards across B2B and selected B2C projects, including incentive programmes, app and web-builds, creative campaigns, digital experiences and data-driven work.


Key Requirements

  • Strong integrated agency background, with hands on experience delivering creative and digital work end-to-end.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships while confidently navigating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Solid grounding in strategy and demonstrable experience using strategic thinking to guide client decisions.
  • Working understanding of AI concepts, use cases and applications in a marketing/ communications context - able to engage credibly with clients and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working across varied sectors including B2B and B2C; experience with IT/tech or pharma advantageous.
  • Confident operating in fastmoving environments where priorities shift and collaboration across teams is essential.
  • Capable of handling ambiguity, stepping outside your usual wheelhouse and adapting as the agency scales.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills with a focus on outcomes and client impact.
