Salary: £43,000-£45,000 + car + bonus

Location: North London/South East/Ipswich/Oxford- Field/Home

We’re working with a leading manufacturer in the heating controls sector who is looking for a driven Account Manager to take ownership of a high-potential region covering South East London and the Home Counties.

This is a warm, established area where the focus is on building relationships further, spending time with customers, and driving consistent field-based growth. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team, with realistic targets and a culture built on trust, ownership, and long-term success.

Responsibilities of an Account Manager:

  • Develop and grow existing accounts within the territory
  • Build strong relationships with merchants and installers
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Deliver consistent performance against achievable sales targets
  • Plan your own schedule and manage your region effectively
  • Represent the business professionally in customer meetings and on-site visits
  • Work closely with internal teams to support customer success and growth

Requirements of an Account Manager:

  • Proven experience selling into builders merchants or similar trade/distribution customers
  • Previous experience in field sales or account management
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship building skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
  • Able to think on your feet and adapt in a customer facing environment
  • Enjoys being out in the field and engaging directly with customers
