Retailer Account Manager An established and fast-growing food and fresh produce business is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead and develop key customer relationships within a dynamic commercial environment with UK retailer key accounts . This role is responsible for managing strategic customer accounts, driving sales and margin performance, and ensuring service levels consistently exceed expectations. You will work closely with internal teams and play a key role in customer growth, product development, and commercial performance. The Role Reporting into the Commercial Director / Head of Sales, the Account Manager will have ownership of key customer accounts and accountability for both commercial and service delivery performance. Key responsibilities include: Leading the day-to-day management of key customer accounts
Owning customer service delivery and ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and met across the business
Managing and driving customer KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Overseeing account profitability, sales performance, and gross margin delivery
Maintaining sales budgets through effective demand forecasting and planning
