About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team within a busy manufacturing environment in Cwmbran. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day finance function, with responsibility across sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, and reporting. Working within manufacturing, you will liaise closely with operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial processing and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Ledger Raise and process sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Allocate customer receipts and reconcile accounts

Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies

Support month-end revenue reporting

Purchase Ledger Process high-volume supplier invoices, including stock and overhead costs

Reconcile supplier statements

Prepare payment runs

Manage supplier queries and maintain strong relationships
