Accounts Payable Assistant


Based in Bermondsey, this role would suit an individual who thrives in a fast-growing, international business


ABOUT THE JOB

  • Manage the AP inbox, responding to internal and external queries professionally .
  • Ensuring timely and accurate upload of invoices to invoice approval platform.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Generation of BACs payment run files in Sage Intacct, and Payment Allocations.
  • Set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring details are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain organised records and filing systems in line with audit requirements.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.


ABOUT YOU

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an accounts payable position.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Working towards or completed AAT qualification.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is advantageous.
