Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant – Runcorn

£16.48 per hour (£30,000 per year) – Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm. Temporary, ongoing position with a respected finance team.

Hybrid working options are available after initial on‑site training.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and check invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Send invoices for approval to the relevant departments.
  • Input approved invoices into the system.
  • Manage purchase ledgers and maintain cashbooks.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliations across the finance function.

Requirements

  • Experience with purchase ledger.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (training provided if needed).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments.
  • Eager to learn and develop within the role.
  • Own transport essential due to office location.
