Data / AI Product Manager

A leading UK brand is hiring an experienced Data / AI Product Manager to drive the delivery of high-impact AI and data initiatives across the organisation.

This is a contract opportunity (outside IR35) for someone who combines strong technical understanding with commercial product leadership - someone who can translate advanced data capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

The Opportunity

You’ll sit at the intersection of Data Science, ML Engineering, and Business Stakeholders, owning the roadmap and ensuring AI initiatives move beyond proof-of-concept into scalable, production-ready solutions.

This is not a reporting or BA-style role. It requires genuine product ownership in a data-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning and shaping the Data / AI product roadmap
• Translating business objectives into ML and data initiatives
• Working closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and MLOps teams
• Ensuring solutions are production-ready and commercially valuable
• Driving stakeholder alignment across technical and non-technical teams
• Prioritising initiatives based on value, feasibility, and strategic impact
• Championing agile delivery practices

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in Data / AI / ML environments
• Strong understanding of machine learning lifecycles (build → deploy → monitor)
• Experience working with technical teams delivering production systems
• Demonstrable delivery of measurable business outcomes

Skillset:

• Confident working with technical stakeholders
• Strong commercial mindset
• Clear communicator across engineering and executive audiences
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments
