WorkingaspartofasmalltechnicalteamandreportingtotheHeadofDigitalDesignandDelivery,thisroleisresponsibleforthedesignandimplementationofAI-enabledsolutionsusing MicrosoftCopilot,CopilotStudioandAzureAIservices. TherolewillsupporttheneedsofProfessionalServicesandstudent-facingteamsacrosstheUniversitybydeliveringpractical,value-drivenAItoolsthatenhanceoperationalefficiency,servicequalityanduserexperience. Therolewillworkcloselywithbusinessstakeholderstoco-designAIsolutions,definerequirements,andtranslatetheseintorobust,scalableimplementations. ThisincludesbuildinggenerativeAIagents,automations,natural-languageanalyticstools,andCopilot-basedworkflowsthatmeetspecificoperationalchallengesacrossvariousprofessionalservicesteams. Additionalresponsibilitiesincludesupportingtesting,providingexpertadviceregardingAIandensuringsolutionsaredeliveredtoahighstandardinalignmentwiththeUniversity'sstrategicaims. WorkingwithoperationalteamstorefinerequirementsanddesignAIimplementationstoensuretheyalignwithbusinessneeds. Creatingprototypesandproofs-of-concepttoassessfeasibilityandbusinessvalue. UsingtechnologiessuchasCopilotStudio,CopilotforM365andAzureAI/Foundryincollaborationwithstakeholderstohelpimplementsolutions. Supportingtestingactivitiestoensuredeliverablesmeetrequiredqualitystandards. AssistingteammemberswithtroubleshootingAIorautomationissues. CreatingreusableAIdocumentationandcomponentssuchaspromptlibraries,playbooksandblueprints. OtherDutiesAISolutionsConsultant Theroleisexpectedtotakeastructuredandproactiveapproachtotheirwork,balancingimmediateprioritieswithlonger-termplanningforchangeinitiatives.Thisincludeseffectivetimeandresourcemanagement. TherolewillcontributetheirtechnicalexpertiseandbusinessinsighttocollaborativeworkacrossITServices. AstrongunderstandingofMicrosoftplatformsandtheirpracticalapplicationsisessentialtosupportsolutiondesignanddelivery. Therolewillworkcloselywiththewiderteamtoidentifyanddeveloppractical,value-drivensolutionsthatdelivermeasurableimprovementsalignedwiththeUniversity'sstrategicobjectives. TherolewillengagewithabroadrangeofstakeholdersacrosstheUniversity.Theywillsupporttheimplementationofnewsolutionsthatmeetstakeholderneeds,ensuringalignmentwithinstitutionalpoliciesandcompatibilitywithexistingsystems. ThedutieslistedarenotexhaustiveandmaybevariedfromtimetotimeasdictatedbythechangingneedsoftheUniversity.Therolewillbeexpectedtoundertakeotherdutiesasappropriateandasrequestedbytheirmanager. SkillsandAbilities AISolutionsConsultant Expertindelivering,configuringandintegratingMicrosoftCopilot,CopilotStudio,PowerPlatformorAzureAIservices. Abilitytodesign,developandimplementAI-enabledsolutionsinenterpriseenvironments. Hands-onskillsbuildingconversationalagents,bots,automationsornatural-languagedatatools. StrongabilitytocommunicateandtranslatecomplexAIconceptsintosimplelanguageforbothtechnicalandnon-technicalstakeholders. Abilitytowriteclear,technicalandnon-technicaldocumentationandcreatingtrainingmaterialstosupportsolutiondeliveryandknowledgesharing. Experiencegatheringrequirements,runningworkshopsandtranslatingbusinessneedsintotechnicalspecifications. Experiencecoachingorsupportingcolleaguesonnewtechnicalcapabilities. ExperienceworkingwithinthesoftwaredevelopmentlifecycleincludingawarenessofITILandAgiledevelopmentmethodologiesandframeworks. ExperienceworkingwithinalargeorganisationtohelpleadanAIportfolioofworkacrossmultipledeliverystreams.
