Job Title: Air Conditioning (AC) Engineer – Installation & Service\nSalary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)\nLocation: South Yorkshire\nContract Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team, specialising in both installation and service work across a variety of AC systems. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services to commercial and residential clients throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Install, service, and maintain a wide range of air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF and split systems.\n\n * \n\n Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner.\n\n * \n\n Conduct routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with customers professionally, providing clear explanations and excellent service.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports and job sheets.\n\n * \n\n Travel to multiple client sites across South Yorkshire and occasionally further afield.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n\n * \n\n FGas Category 1 certification (essential).\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working on VRV, VRF, and split-type systems.\n\n * \n\n Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.\n\n * \n\n Full, valid UK driving licence.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\n * \n\n Good communication skills and a professional approach.\n\nDesirable\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.\n\n * \n\n Experience working in commercial environments.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of other HVAC systems.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary (£40k–£50k depending on experience).\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle, fuel card, and tools provided.\n\n * \n\n Overtime opportunities.\n\n * \n\n Training and development support.\n\n * \n\n Company pension scheme
