About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Airfreight Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is suited to someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven background in international airfreight operations. You’ll take ownership of key accounts while driving growth through proactive sales activity and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of airfreight customers
* Negotiate rates, service agreements, and commercial terms (including SLAs)
* Develop new business opportunities within the airfreight sector
* Provide accurate and timely quotations, costings, and service proposals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams
* Monitor performance against SLAs and resolve service issues effectively
* Keep up to date with airfreight market trends, carrier updates, and pricing changes
* Support operational teams to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery
About You
* Proven experience in airfreight account management, sales, or operations
