A leading international law firm is seeking a Conflicts & AML Analyst to join its London-based Conflicts & New Business team. The role supports the firm’s global client onboarding process by conducting conflicts checks, AML research, and risk analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Working closely with Partners, Conflicts Lawyers, and compliance leadership, you will review new business requests, carry out corporate and client due diligence, assess AML risk, and escalate potential issues where appropriate. The role combines detailed analytical work with regular stakeholder interaction across international offices.

This position offers strong exposure to complex cross-border matters, enhanced due diligence, and financial crime risk considerations within a global firm environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting conflicts searches and analysing results for potential issues
• Performing AML research, client verification, and risk assessments
• Preparing reports and documentation to support new matter onboarding
• Advising internal stakeholders on AML procedures and information requirements
• Carrying out sanctions and adverse media screening
• Escalating higher-risk matters to senior compliance leadership
