Application Support Analyst - City
Application Support Analyst urgently required by a leading financial services firm in the City.
Core part of the role is and resolving tickets tied to legacy applications - VB.NET, SQL, C#.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for legacy system issues—triaging, updating, and resolving support tickets
- Investigate issues within legacy applications - VB.NET, SQL, and C#.
- Execute SQL queries and data updates for fixes, adhering to ITIL-aligned incident and change protocols
- Monitor system alerts and performance metrics
Key Skills - MUST HAVES
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical support, with a service-first mindset.
- General knowledge of software development principles
- VB.NET, SQL, C#, SQL, SSIS/SSRS
- Familiar with ITIL frameworks and comfortable navigating incident/change workflows.
