Full study support will be provided within this apprenticeship, as you progress through accountancy qualifications and seniority Apprentice Accountant Job Responsibilities * Trainee accountant to undertake a formal training contract to study for their ACA or ACCA qualification. * Undertake bookkeeping to trial balance, prepare VAT returns and reconcile balance sheet accounts. * Prepare annual Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax returns. * Also prepare some client payrolls, personal tax returns, assist on audits, and develop, document and update new procedures and systems. * Ad hoc assignments as necessary.
