More about your role
\nThis is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team that changes lives and saves lives! As an Area Healthy Communities Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the Healthy Communities strategy. You will work with the operational teams to deliver a range of key programmes such as; Exercise Referral, Big Sister, Cardiac Rehab, Falls Prevention, Move Through Menopause and Community Outreach. You will also support operations in scoping, developing and delivering local projects. In addition, you will work with partners such as Local Authorities, the NHS and Active Partnerships to engage more people to be physically active. You will continuously work towards increasing social value, revenue generation and health outcomes.

The role will involve working autonomously, problem solving and influencing senior level colleagues/partners. You will be covering the South region, which covers London and the home counties, as a result you will be traveling regularly to our leisure centres and and partner organisations. All travel expenses will be covered. Interviews are due to take place week commencing 9th March for any successful applicants.

\nAn ideal candidate will be an experienced manager, with expertise in improving the health and wellbeing of communities, with the ability to champion diversity and inclusion. In addition, they will be a strong collaborator, with an eye for detail and motivated by making an impact in our communities.
