Key Responsibilities: Asbestos Surveys & Inspections Conduct asbestos surveys (Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition) on a variety of properties. Inspect sites thoroughly to identify materials that may contain asbestos, such as insulation, flooring, ceiling tiles, pipe lagging, and roofing materials. Sample Collection, Testing & Analysis Collect samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials for laboratory analysis. For Analysts, carry out air monitoring, reassurance testing, and four-stage clearances as required. Ensure all samples and analytical work are completed in line with health, safety, and contamination control standards. Risk Assessment & Monitoring Assess the condition of ACMs and determine the level of risk to health. Advise clients on appropriate control measures, including removal, encapsulation, or management in situ. Monitor asbestos removal or remediation projects to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
