Were looking for a talented and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our independent, food-led pub in the heart of Fulham. If you have experience as a Deputy Manager , assistant manager , or assistant general manager (AGM) , and you love delivering warm, memorable hospitality, this could be the perfect next step for you.
The Rose is known for seasonal menus, exceptional guest service, and one of Fulhams best pub gardens packed in the summer with alfresco dining, BBQs, and weekend gatherings. After a long tenure with our previous management team, were excited to welcome a new Assistant General Manager ready to help shape our next chapter.
? Key Responsibilities
As our Assistant General Manager , you will:
Lead and motivate a high-performing team
Deliver outstanding guest experiences, every time
Support stock control, recruitment, training, rotas, and day-to-day operations
Maintain our high standards of food quality, service, and atmosphere
Act as a role model on the floor and ensure smooth, efficient service
Step up confidently in the absence of the GM
? What Were Looking For
Youll thrive in this Assistant General Manager role if you have:
Experience in pubs, bars, or restaurants
A passion for hospitality, people, and seasonal fresh food
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
A positive, flexible, hands-on attitude
Ambition to progress - our aim will be to progress you tofull GM role
