The Role An established rail systems business is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of rail support contracts, minor project works and repair activities. Reporting into the Group Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating projects, managing costs, supporting stakeholders and ensuring contractual, quality and safety requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
Support delivery of projects in line with agreed programmes and contractual requirements
Assist with management of existing support contracts, minor project works and repairs
Prepare monthly project reports, phase reviews, forecasts and budgets
Track project costs to maintain bid margins and financial performance
Ensure all QHSE documentation is completed, approved and compliant
Coordinate resources, materials, equipment and subcontractors
Liaise with clients to understand requirements and support system development
Attend production scheduling meetings and understand production hours and costsSkills & Experience
Understanding of project management techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindsetWorking Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Flexible working between 07:00 and 18:00
