Windsor (Office-Based)?? £34,000 £45,000 + Package The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team on a high-profile commercial office fit-out project This role is ideal for someone with 13 years post-graduate experience who is looking to develop within a fast-paced, high-spec fit-out environment, gaining hands-on exposure across the full commercial lifecycle of projects. You will be working closely with and reporting directly to a Project Quantity Surveyor, gaining real responsibility from day one across procurement, cost management, and subcontractor packages. Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Project QS in the day-to-day commercial management of the projectAssisting with procurement of subcontract packages, including issuing enquiries, analysing returns, and preparing comparisonsContributing to the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and take-offsAssisting with subcontractor negotiations and appointmentsSupporting the management of variations, change control, and valuationsAssisting in the preparation of monthly cost reports and forecastsReviewing and processing subcontractor applications and paymentsMaintaining accurate commercial records and documentationLiaising with internal teams, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are metSupporting the agreement of final accounts RequirementsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline13 years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying roleExperience within construction, interiors, or fit-out projects is advantageousStrong understanding of commercial processes and contract administrationExcellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work within a team environmentProactive, driven, and eager to learn and develop Whats on OfferSalary of £35,000 £45,000 (depending on experience)Competitive packageClear progression pathway into Quantity Surveyor levelExposure to high-quality commercial fit-out projectsOpportunity to work closely with experienced commercial professionalsFast-paced environment with genuine hands-on responsibilityJBRP1_UKTJ
