Assistant Quantity Surveyor | City of London | Interior Fit Out | £35,000 to £45,000 + package

Due to our continued success and expansion, we are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Role:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play an integral role in the commercial management of our projects, typically valued between £250,000 and £10M. You will work alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors & Senior QS's to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Support in the preparation and management of sub-contractor packages.
• Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring effective cost control measures are implemented.
• Assist with site measurements and valuations.
• Contribute to the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
• Help to identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or working towards).
• Some experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role within the construction or fit-out industry (preferred).
• Knowledge of dry lining, interior fit-out, or commercial office fit-out projects is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of tasks.
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
