Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client a building developer / contractor are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major residential development in Portsmouth . This is a key role supporting the financial management and delivery of a multi-phase housing project consisting of private housing and apartments.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with subcontractor procurement and payments

Support monthly valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting

Help manage budgets, variations, and cash flow

Attend site meetings and liaise with site and design teams

Maintain accurate records and assist with final accounts

What We're Looking For: 24 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role (contractor or developer side)

HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Confident communicator, well-organised, with good commercial awareness

Proficient in Excel; experience with construction management software is a plus
