Our client a building developer / contractor are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major residential development in Portsmouth. This is a key role supporting the financial management and delivery of a multi-phase housing project consisting of private housing and apartments.Key Responsibilities:Assist with subcontractor procurement and paymentsSupport monthly valuations, cost reporting, and forecastingHelp manage budgets, variations, and cash flowAttend site meetings and liaise with site and design teamsMaintain accurate records and assist with final accountsWhat We're Looking For:24 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role (contractor or developer side)HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalentConfident communicator, well-organised, with good commercial awarenessProficient in Excel; experience with construction management software is a plusWhats on Offer:Excellent career progression with a reputable regional contractorTraining and support from experienced surveyorsLong-term involvement in a landmark developmentCompetitive salary, car allowance, and company benefitsJBRP1_UKTJ
