Associate Director, Project Controls, Infrastructure We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director level Project Controls professional to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business. Job Description In this role you will deliver project controls services for large, complex and mega infrastructure projects, managing the full cycle from success criteria definition to performance monitoring and financial oversight. Responsibilities
Deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery in large, complex and mega projects. Establish success criteria for the contract, including time, cost, and performance parameters. Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and facilitate inputs from the cross‑functional project controls team in a matrix environment. Maintain the risk register and support the evaluation and assessment of all risk components and variations. Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPI use, to improve project performance. Manage change control processes and advise on project finances. Manage the flow of project information within the project team. Act as the key, day‑to‑day project team interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered within time, cost and quality targets. Support the centre of expertise in developing and implementing the PMO project controls service. Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed efficiently, on time and to budget. Deliver project controls in line with client objectives and conditions of appointment.
Qualifications
Relevant technical degree and management qualifications, with professional experience in project control roles for construction projects. Experience in planning & scheduling and cost management. Experience in risk management, change control, information management and reporting within complex projects. Working knowledge of proprietary cost management systems such as Prism and Unifier. Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists, enabling strong training and development for junior staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
