We are working in partnership with a leading international law firm to recruit an Associate into its Commercial Disputes team in Manchester.This is a strong opportunity to join a highly regarded and collaborative disputes practice with a national and cross-border focus, advising on a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.The successful candidate will work closely with partners and colleagues across multiple offices, supporting clients on both domestic and international disputes.Key responsibilities will include:Advising on and representing clients in commercial disputes through litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolutionHandling a wide range of matters including contractual disputes, public law issues (including judicial review and procurement), professional negligence, injunctions, reputation management and contentious insolvencyManaging a caseload with appropriate supervisionSupporting on complex, high-value disputesBuilding and maintaining strong client and intermediary relationshipsContributing to business development initiatives, including seminars and client eventsManaging files, time and billing efficientlyApplicants should be qualified solicitors with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience and a solid background in commercial disputes.
