Priory Hospital Cardiffis looking to recruit a Bank Healthcare Worker to join the team in our Low secure 4 beds, male and females, 18+.
Priory Hospital Cardiff is a modern mental health treatment unit. The unit includes a variety of facilities, such as three secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, patient social area, art rooms and dedicated support services areas. The service is currently being developed to provide bespoke treatment packages for a variety of patients with complex mental health needs. The unit will provide a modern, homely environment promoting independence, whilst employing an experienced multi-disciplinary team to oversee and support patient progress
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Bank Healthcare Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
- Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
- To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products.
- To assist in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
