These settings support students who may struggle in mainstream education, often presenting with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). The right person in the room can make a significant difference - someone calm, confident and able to build trust with pupils while maintaining clear expectations.
You’ll work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support pupils in lessons, helping them stay engaged with learning and navigate challenges in a constructive way.

Experience working with young people is essential. Schools value individuals who remain composed under pressure and bring consistency to the classroom.
