They are now seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their growing team based in Ingatestone, supporting the continued expansion of public sector and framework opportunities.
Role Overview
As a Bid Writer, you will take ownership of producing high-quality, compelling and compliant written submissions, working with internal teams to deliver winning responses. Responsibilities include:
Managing the full bid lifecycle for PQQs, SQs, ITTs, tenders and framework submissions
Producing clear, persuasive and well-structured written content
Coordinating input from Operations, Commercial, H&S, HR and Senior Management
Developing bid strategies, win themes and value propositions
Maintaining the companys bid library and up-to-date standard content
Conducting research on clients, competitors and tender requirements
Ensuring bids are submitted accurately and on time across multiple deadlines

What Youll Bring
Essential:
Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Tender Writer or Proposal Writer
Good knowledge of UK public sector procurement
Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
High attention to detail and a deadline-driven mindset
Desirable:
Experience within construction, social housing, building safety, refurbishment, fire compliance or property services
Familiarity with frameworks such as Decent Homes, planned maintenance, voids, and works in occupied properties
Understanding of H&S, quality assurance, and operational delivery requirements in construction services
