BMS Manager – Data Centre Projects | London

£110K–£120K + Travel + Benefits

Location: London

We’re seeking an experienced BMS Manager to lead and support the delivery of Building Management Systems (BMS) across major data centre and critical infrastructure projects based in London.

Reporting directly to the Project Director, you’ll manage project engineers and oversee the full BMS lifecycle — from design and procurement through to commissioning and handover. This role offers the chance to join a leading technical contractor delivering cutting-edge data centre projects across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and manage the BMS delivery on large-scale projects.

* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project engineers.

* Manage BMS design coordination, commissioning, and subcontractor performance.

* Support project teams in budgeting, planning, and commercial control.

* Drive innovation and continuous improvement across BMS project delivery.

* Advise on new technologies and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient installations.

* Report on programme progress and flag potential risks or delays.

* Provide executive-level updates to senior management and stakeholders.

* Contribute to bid and pre-construction activities for new project opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a BMS Manager, Senior BMS Engineer, or BMS Project Lead.

* Strong background in Building Management Systems for large-scale or mission-critical environments (data centres ).

* Excellent understanding of BMS integration with MEP systems.

* Strong commercial awareness and experience managing subcontractors.

* Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills.

* Knowledge of H&S and environmental systems.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines.

* UK work eligibility and flexibility to travel when required.
