Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, plus every other Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pmOur client is a well-established and respected supplier within the commercial vehicle parts sector, supporting fleets and businesses across the industry. They are now seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead their Stoke operation.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving sales performance, operational excellence, and team development.The RoleAs Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and operational management of the branch. You will ensure the branch delivers against agreed sales, margin, and contribution targets while maintaining high standards of compliance, customer service, and team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesFull operational control of the branch, including managing, motivating, recruiting, and developing staffEnsuring compliance with company policies, employment law, and HR procedures (appraisals, disciplinary, grievance, inductions, etc.)Driving monthly sales, margin, and contribution targets in collaboration with the sales teamMonitoring and achieving agreed KPIs and service level agreementsOverseeing stock control, stock cleanses/transfers, and goods-in processesManaging the branch P&L and day-to-day financial performanceImplementing strategies to increase productivity and maximise sales opportunitiesDeveloping and growing the local customer baseManaging compliance processes in line with operational scorecardsEnsuring cash handling and payment systems are managed in accordance with proceduresLeading customer service and sales performance across counter and telephone salesManaging driver/store performance and ensuring full utilisationEnsuring all company vehicles meet Road Traffic Act and company requirementsMonitoring health & safety, security, and emergency proceduresIdentifying training and development needs within the teamSkills & Experience RequiredProven branch management experience with a strong sales and margin performance backgroundCommercial truck and trailer parts knowledge desirableStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Target-driven with strong organisational and planning abilitiesCommercial awareness and ability to manage costs effectivelyExperience in stock control, fleet management, and health & safety complianceConfident managing HR processes and performance managementIT literate (Microsoft Office)Full UK driving licenceFlexibility for occasional overnight staysPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated with a positive, 'can-do' attitudeTrustworthy and acts with integrityFocused and results-drivenAssertive yet diplomaticAble to motivate and inspire a teamComfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentJBRP1_UKTJ
