We are working on behalf of a leading UK construction contractor to recruit an experienced Building Services Manager to support the delivery of high-quality, technically complex construction projects.

This is a key role within the project delivery team, responsible for managing all mechanical and electrical (M&E) services from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.

The Role

• Manage and coordinate all building services (M&E) activities across live projects
• Review designs, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance and buildability
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems
• Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure coordinated delivery
• Monitor quality, programme, cost, and health & safety performance
• Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks
• Support sustainable, energy-efficient building services solutions

About You

• Proven experience in a Building Services Manager, M&E Manager, or similar role within construction
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Confident working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulations
• Commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Relevant qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
