Business Analyst - Wealth Management

£500-550/day via an Umbrella


Overview

Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation, is seeking to onboard multiple Business Analysts to support the delivery of business and technology change initiatives.


These roles will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to understand business needs, define requirements, and support the successful delivery of change across the organisation.


The roles requires an individual with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, able to translate business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables while ensuring alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and change requirements.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation.
  • Support prioritisation of requirements in collaboration with product owners and delivery teams.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Act as the bridge between business teams and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding of outcomes.


Change Delivery

  • Support the design and implementation of business process improvements.
  • Work closely with project managers, product teams, and technology teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Assist with solution validation, testing support, and implementation activities.


Documentation & Governance

  • Produce high-quality analysis documentation including:
  • Business requirements documents
  • Process maps
  • User stories
  • Functional specifications
  • Ensure requirements traceability and alignment to programme objectives.


Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Proven Business Analyst experience with a background in Financial Services.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to shape and define requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and gathering requirements across business functions.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.


Nice to Have

  • Experience within Wealth Management.
  • Understanding of advisor-led wealth management operating models.
  • Exposure to Salesforce platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
