Business Development Manager – Commercial Solar PV\n\nJob Title: Business Development Manager – Commercial Solar PV\n\nIndustry Sector: Renewables, Solar Energy, Solar PV, Photovoltaics, Solar Panels, Solar Lighting, Renewable Energy, M&E Contractors, Electrical Installers, Renewable Installers, Business Owners, Building, Design for Efficiency, Energy Efficiency Solutions, LED Lighting, School Learning Environments, Energy Storage, Battery Storage, EV charging and Energy Measurement and Monitoring\n\nArea to be covered: National – based with access to West Midlands\n\nRemuneration: £50,000 - £70,000 + 2-3% uncapped Commission\n\nBenefits: EV or £500 Car Allowance & company benefits\n\nThe role of the Business Development Manager – Commercial Solar PV will involve:\n\n * Field sales position selling the design, supply, install, service, and maintenance of renewable energy and low-carbon technology solutions full turn-key installation of commercial solar\n\n * Selling into primarily manufacturing (aerospace, defence, food etc.) and commercial real estate sectors such as; land lords and leisure providers\n\n * Selling into and managing relationships with business owners/ building owner end users\n\n * Typical project sizes from £100,000-£1m+\n\n * New business hunter role (although as much as 50% of your projects may come from inbounds leads)\n\n * £2m revenue target\n\n * Ideally you will be able to get into our clients’ West Midlands office one day per week in the first 6 months\n\nThe ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Commercial Solar PV with:\n\n * Must have field sales experience in the commercial solar market (seasoned solar PV sales professional)\n\n * May consider other energy efficiency solutions, LED lighting, energy storage, battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps or energy measurement and monitoring backgrounds looking to move into commercial solar\n\n * New business hunter\n\n * Technical experience preferred\n\n * Ideally some knowledge of the manufacturing or commercial real estate sectors\n\n * Excellent negotiation skills\n\n * Self-motivated/ self-starter\n\n * IT literate (Microsoft Office)\n\nMitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Sales Jobs, Construction sales vacancies and Internal sales positions within: Renewables, Solar Energy, Solar PV, Photovoltaics, Solar Panels, Solar Lighting, Renewable Energy, M&E Contractors, Electrical Installers, Renewable Installers, Business Owners, Building, Design for Efficiency, Energy Efficiency Solutions, LED Lighting, School Learning Environments, Energy Storage, Battery Storage, EV charging and Energy Measurement and Monitoring
