Case Manager - Private Client

A highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an experienced candidate within probate who is ready to step into a more advanced, client-facing role within its established Private Client team.

\n\n

This is an excellent opportunity to move beyond traditional paralegal duties into a fee-earning position, taking ownership of probate matters while working closely with experienced lawyers in a supportive and collaborative environment.

\n\n

Key responsibilities include:

    \n\t
  • Assisting with the administration of estates from instruction through to completion
    • \n\t
  • Preparing probate applications and associated legal documentation
    • \n\t
  • Maintaining accurate estate accounts and financial records
    • \n\t
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties daily
    • \n\t
  • Assisting with the collection and distribution of estate assets
    • \n\t
  • Supporting the preparation of inheritance tax returns
    • \n\t
  • Providing regular updates to senior fee earners and partners
    • \n\t
  • Ensuring high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
    • \n\t
  • Supporting business development activities and attending relevant event
    • \n

About You

    \n\t
  • Previous experience within Private Client / Probate
    • \n\t
  • Currently working as a Paralegal or in a similar role
    • \n\t
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
    • \n\t
  • Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach to clients
    • \n\t
  • Able to manage sensitive matters with discretion and integrity
    • \n\t
  • Law degree, CILEX qualification, or equivalent experience preferred
    • \n
