Chef de Partie - Rock Barracks

?? Pay: £15.65 per hour
? Hours: 37.5 hours per week (no spread-over shifts)
?? Contract: 5 days out of 7
?? Weekends: 1 in 4

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Chef de Partie to join our catering team at Rock Barracks . This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food for service personnel.

You will be part of a supportive kitchen team delivering daily meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.
Shift Patterns
Weekdays
Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00

Late Shift: 10:30 - 18:30

Weekends
09:00 - 17:30 (1 in 4 weekends)

Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals to required service and Company standards.

Take responsibility for your section, ensuring quality and consistency.

Support the Head Chef and senior team with daily kitchen operations.

Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety.

Assist with stock control, food rotation, and allergen management.

Work effectively as part of the team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or equivalent) preferred.

Culinary qualifications desirable (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Flexible and reliable with the ability to work early and late shifts.

Passion for delivering quality food and service.
