The business is an early-stage Private Wire Solar and integrated Battery Energy Storage (BESS) developer. With an experienced founding team, the company is now preparing for its next phase of scale. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial foundations of the platform as it evolves into a scaled IPP. This is an opportunity to join a business at a formative stage and play a defining role in building a scalable renewable energy infrastructure platform with significant growth ambitions across the UK and Europe. Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the financial lead across the platform, partnering closely with the CEO on strategy and growth Owning the master financial model and ensuring rigorous scenario modelling across the project portfolio Overseeing DEVEX and CAPEX discipline, project economics and capital stack optimisation Leading equity and debt fundraising processes, including the upcoming growth capital raise

Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will combine project finance depth with strong commercial judgement and leadership capability. Key experience will likely include:

Significant experience in energy infrastructure, renewables or project finance Strong understanding of private wire solar economics, PPA structures and BESS revenue models Deep familiarity with infrastructure financial metrics including IRR, NPV and DSCR Experience leading equity and debt capital processes The ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on in a growing platform environment
