We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Residential Support Workers on an adhoc basis to join our amazing team and help play a central role in ensuring high quality care for our children and young people! Our client offers Short Break and Long-stay units for children and young people aged 5-18 years who have moderate to severe learning difficulties. Some of our children and young people exhibit challenging behaviours whilst others may have high medical needs. You will need to be supportive to others, adaptable and creative. Good observations and assessments skills plus dedication to providing a safe stimulating environment for children are essential qualities required. You will be required to have recent and relevant experience working in a childcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Direct Care: Providing personal care such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and assisting with mobility, ensuring the child's comfort and dignity. Activity Facilitation: Engaging children in age-appropriate play, recreational activities, and outings, both within the unit and in the community.
