Childrens Therapeutic Residential Deputy Manager

2 Days Old

Are you a Deputy Manager looking for a fresh start, or maybe a Senior looking for the next step in your career?
We are seeking a Childrens Residential Therapeutic Deputy Manager to join a dedicated team providing therapeutic, life-changing support to children and young people. This bright, modern family home in Chippenham provides day-to-day support for up to three children with emotional, social, behavioural, and special educational needs. The home features a spacious garden, perfect for encouraging outdoor play, and promotes a caring atmosphere that gives each child a strong sense of belonging and stability. Due to past experiences of ACEs, a trusting, family environment and therapeutic community are key for them to feel cared for and supported, and allow them to learn to trust again.
As a registered member of The Consortium of Therapeutic Communities, their approach is grounded in therapeutic models, including Therapeutic Parenting, trauma-informed practice, and other positive frameworks. Working alongside psychologists and therapeutic consultants, youll help to support these children, guiding them towards greater resilience and a strong sense of self-worth. This involves developing secure attachments, assisting children to regulate emotions and behaviours, and using reflective practice to adapt approaches to individual needs.
As a Childrens Therapeutic Residential Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the children receive high-quality support. Whilst working alongside and supporting your Registered Manager, you will help maintain an environment where children feel heard, valued and understood. You will support the smooth operation of the home, deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence, and model best practice for both young people and staff. You will oversee risk assessments, safeguarding procedures, and the management of staff while maintaining full compliance with The Childrens Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and company policies.
