The home features a spacious garden, perfect for encouraging outdoor play, and promotes a caring atmosphere that gives each child a strong sense of belonging and stability. Due to past experiences of ACEs, a trusting, family environment and therapeutic community are key for them to feel cared for and supported, and allow them to learn to trust again. As a registered member of The Consortium of Therapeutic Communities, their approach is grounded in therapeutic models, including Therapeutic Parenting, trauma-informed practice, and other positive frameworks. Working alongside psychologists and therapeutic consultants, youll help to support these children, guiding them towards greater resilience and a strong sense of self-worth. This involves developing secure attachments, assisting children to regulate emotions and behaviours, and using reflective practice to adapt approaches to individual needs.
